GUIARE is a private company that provides educational services to public and private schools, and to educational institutions in Costa Rica and other countries.
The company’s main objectives are:
- to train teachers to become more effective in the classroom by applying research-based methodologies
- to support teachers in the acquisition of new instructional skills
- to support the school community in self improvement projects
GUIARE offers a wide range of workshops that provide theory, modeling, practice, and follow-up coaching sessions with individual teachers. In order for teacher training to be effective, it must be followed up by teacher observation and coaching in the classroom. Workshops can be offered in sessions of 2-4 hours, one full day, or they can be developed over a longer period of time according to the needs of the school.
